Freer and Sackler Galleries

The Arthur M. Sackler and Freer Galleries comprise the two arms of the National Museum of Asian Art of the Smithsonian Institution. I stumbled upon these two galleries when I went to visit NMAfA - turns out all three galleries are all connected two each other. The Freer Gallery boasts exemplary examples of late nineteenth-century works while the Sackler Gallery is host to contemporary art from Asia as well as international loan exhibitions.
