Solange for Elle Magazine, March 2017

Our favorite muse, Solange Knowles, is back with another magazine cover and editorial for 2017! With unruly curls, monochromatic looks, and whimsical makeup, this shoot makes a much bolder statement then her muted looks and 70s vintage vibe for her February 2017 Interview Magazine cover story.

Stole and pants by Pleats Please Issey Mikaye. Boots by Laurence Dacade.

Jacket and trousers by CĂ©line.

On her album, Seat at the Table: "I did want to create this juxtaposition, politically, of having these very hard, messy conversations but having them stylistically in a way that you can really hear me, and not the yelling, the rage," she ruminates. "I wanted to project in my delivery what I was not achieving at all: peace and having a certain lightness and airiness that could maybe help me get closer to having more light and airiness in my life."

Coats by Norma Kamali. Pants by Pleats Please Issey Miyake.
