My Favorite Winter 2017/2018 Magazine Features

Danai Gurira shines as one of the cover starts for the Winter 2017 issue of Rogue Magazine. I'm a sucker for any woman who rocks a short hair and The Walking Dead and Black Panther actress doesn't disappoint in her latex, sequins, and jewels amidst bold backdrops. These photographs by Benjo Arwas are absolutely frame-worthy.

Solange Knowles covers the Jan/Feb 2017 issue of Surface Magazine. The profile highlights Knowles’s transformation from pop star to visual artist, highlighting various of the performance pieces for her 2016 album entitled A Seat at the Table. Her blonde braids, highlighted with red beads, created by the amazing Hair by Susy are a standout look. Andrew Zuckerman produced incredible portraits.

Caleb McLaughlin shines on his cover and editorial spread for the Winter 2017 issue of House of Solo Magazine. Ever since he first burst into the spotlight on Stranger Things, I've enjoyed seeing him bloom as an actor and just how well he styles on red carpets. He absolutely killed this entire spread!

In the February 2018 issue of British Vogue, Bafta-winning actress Michaela Coel dissects the challenging issue of subconscious prejudice. Her portraits by Amy Troost, shown below, took my breath away. To read the full article, click here.
